Easirent will monitor your incoming flight to ensure we are always there to greet you, even if your flight is early. If your flight is delayed we will still meet you, whatever the time, day or night. This is our fundamental priority. Hirers must call the Branch when in the baggage reclaim on 020 8181 5102. We will then meet you in arrivals with a board clearly stating your name.
The arrivals hall is on the ground floor. We will be standing behind the barrier as you emerge through the doors from baggage collection. Your name and EASIRENT will be clearly displayed by our manager on a clipboard. Then you will be taken to the car outside. DO NOT GO UPSTAIRS TO THE RENTAL DESKS. DO NOT GO OUTSIDE. Please stay near the barrier in arrivals until you see our clipboard with your name on it.
Our priority is to look after you and make sure your experience with EASIRENT is such that you will always use us again and again at London City Airport. Most people do. This meet and greet service is extremely quick - no queuing at hire desks for hours and then given keys for a car in some far away car park. We will have your car directly outside the arrivals hall where your luggage can be quickly loaded, the paperwork can be done in a few minutes and you will be on your way. All car controls will be pointed out for you, fuel filler and type of fuel will be shown to you, and the location of the spare wheel and tools, (very unlikely to be used). We can also supply a Sat Nav for you (charged £6 per day) and, again, we will show you how to use it and pre load any destination for you. We will also provide you with a safety sheet highlighting the different speed limits on British roads, where parking offences may occur, drink drive limits, and any other relevant information to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable stay in the UK. Don't forget that we are always available on the phone numbers below if you have any problems whatsoever.
We will also provide details of congestion charges for driving into London city. We will spend as much time as is needed with you to ensure you feel comfortable with the car. Nothing is too much trouble for our friendly staff.
All our vehicles are fully insured but, like all rental companies, have an excess of £750 which you will be liable for if the vehicle suffers damage, either by you, or by others.
This excess charge can be reduced to zero for £10 per day + VAT. All car hire companies have this excess and our charge for this excess waiver is far cheaper than any other rental company at London City airport. We strongly recommend you take this option for complete peace of mind.

If you want to call us on the office landline prior to leaving for your journey to the UK please call us once you are on your departing aircraft with your ETA for London. We will already know this, of course, but by informing us it means that we will have your number so that we can keep in touch with you, and assure you we are waiting for you. If you have connecting flights or stop over's on the way to London please only call us on your final leg as sometimes your connection can be delayed. You can also call the office from the arrivals/baggage hall at London City or, if you have no baggage, when you have landed, to ensure a speedy getaway.
All our cars are under 6 months old, all have air conditioning and the latest safety features to keep your family secure. All cars are fully valeted prior to the hire and plenty petrol or diesel will be in the tank to ensure a safe start to your UK trip. Because all cars are new they have full manufacturer's warranty and 24hr call out service from the manufacturer in the unlikely event that you have a service problem. If you require baby seats, booster seats, Sat Nav, or a roof rack please let us know when booking the car. In the booking process there is a page for all these extras. We would advise a diesel car if undertaking long journeys in the UK. Diesel is much more efficient with more mpg. We can also provide you with a British mobile phone with a "pay as you go" chip installed. This can be topped up at most shops. This will save you considerable amounts of money since we all know the extortionate charges mobile phone providers charge once you leave your own country.
ALL our cars are provided with unlimited mileage whilst in the UK.

This is really a reverse of the arrival procedure and is far quicker than our competitors since you simply drive to the departure terminal at London City and we will be waiting outside for you. Easy. Please follow the simple process below.
1) Please ring Sandra at our office +44 (0)20 8181 5102 on the day before your departure. We already know, of course, your scheduled departure time but things can change or you may want to keep the car longer. 2) We will meet you at your departure terminal at the time agreed in your phone call Don't forget to ring us 24 hours before your departure in case any of the above procedures change.

The Meridian Business Centre provides facilities for everything a company could need to ensure that business doesn't stop while passengers travel. There are amenities such as:

London City Airport provides all the essential amenities for passengers travelling with children. Should you need any additional assistance London City Airport has staff on hand who are both helpful and knowledgeable. Toilets are equipped with baby changing facilities and are located in both the departure lounge and terminal concourse.

London City Airport passengers can enjoy free WiFi internet throughout the Terminal. There are also public access internet desks in the departure lounge and offer a pay-as-you-go service for internet access.
Toilets are located throughout the terminal with disabled toilets and baby changing facilities in the women's toilets.
London City Airport offers Bureaux de change provided by Travelex both before and after security as well as two outlets of WHSmith also either side of security. Duty Free is provided by Aelia and Gassan Diamonds offers passengers the chance to indulge in some elegant jewellery.
There are a range of places to dine before take off in London City Airport, both landside and airside. BarTen28 provides passengers with snacks as well as an extensive drinks menu, offering cocktails and wines. Cafe Nero, Espressamente Illy and Pret a Manger provide passengers with light snacks, and coffee to have on the go with Trattoria providing travellers with a place to enjoy a more substantial meal. Panopolis is the airport's bakers who offer a wide range of freshly made baked goods to passengers.

For passengers travel to the airport by car the Airport is located in East London, close to Canary Wharf and The 02 arena and is easily accessible by a number of major motorways which connect with the M25. If you are entering from the South follow the M3 until the M25, for passengers travelling from the North follow the M1 and M11. E16 2PX is the London City Airport postcode for passengers using satellite navigation.
