Luton is a large town in the South of England, it is 32 miles North of London. The urban area of Luton has a population of over 230,000. Luton is home to Luton Airport, University of Bedfordshire and Luton Town FC. The Luton Carnival, held in late May, is the largest one-day carnival in Europe. Luton was known for many years due to its hat-making industry but today many are aware that Vauxhall Motor’s head office is located in the town.
