The Discovery 3, the first Land Rover to be designed under the Ford ownership
of the company, has moved further upmarket than ever. The Discovery 3 can double
as a seven-seat MPV with third row seats – providing decent leg and headroom.
Being behind the wheel of the Discovery 3, gives the driver an excellent viewpoint of the road ahead, all the main driving controls are highly accessible. The previous ‘live axles’ seen in other Land Rover models has been renewed with all-independent double wishbone suspension, for the Discovery. Engine refinement has been classed as ‘first rate’, with great attention being paid to reducing noise intrusion and ultimately giving this Land Rover a luxury car feel.
