Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I take the vehicle out of the UK?
Yes, but you need to provide your own European breakdown cover, we will provide European insurance, but not breakdown cover
2. Is there an age restriction?
Yes, you must be between 25 and 70 to hire a vehicle from Easirent
3. Is there an age restriction in regards to the type of vehicle e.g. Trucks?
Anything over 7.5 ton (not including) does not go on Easirent's Insurance so there is no age limit other than what your insurance specifies. All vehicles 9 seats and above, as well as 7.5 ton vehicles, have a minimum age of 30 if they are on Easirent's Insurance.
4. Is there a mileage restriction?
Yes, all Easirent vehicles come with mileage restrictions
5. Are you open Bank Holidays?
Yes, Easirent is open on Bank Holidays - we're shut on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day only.
6. Can I add additional drivers?
Yes (there is a charge for this service)
7. I cannot find my driving license, can I still hire?
Yes, we will need government issued ID (such as a passport) and will need to contact the DVLA to check your license details (there is a charge for this service).
8. The address on my license is not where I now live can I still hire?
Yes, you can as long as all your other ID (bills, etc etc) are dated within the last 3 months
9. Are there any restrictions in reference to my license?
You may only have 6 points in total for speeding, for other's please call us and ask
10. I am currently unemployed can I still hire?
No
