Wondering where you might be able to find fireworks, laser shows, an ice-skating rink, a German Bier festival, a funfair and bonfires all in one place? On 7 November the Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival is coming and it’s a day you won’t forget.
Pickup your Easirent hire car at our Luton Airport branch and drive approximately 40 minutes down the M1 to Alexandra Palace. Ally Pally – how you might hear the locals calling it – isn’t just any old fireworks display, it is a celebration of life.
The German Bier festival is the UK’s largest. There will be craft beer, street food, an oompah band and DJ’s from 3pm. London’s largest permanent ice rink will also be open throughout the day. A Mad Max-style parade will be performed by Mutoid Waste who have previously entertained crowds at Glastonbury and the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympics.
And that’s not all! The family can all enjoy exciting rides at the large funfair, independent food stalls, face painting and a massive bonfire in the family area.
With 50,000 guests expected to arrive make sure you get there early enough to nab a car parking space.
Tickets start from £6 to £9 for adults and, for 11 to 15 year olds, are £4 to £6.50. Children under 10 go free. There are extra charges for the Ice Rink and German Bier festival. Tickets to the Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival are only available in advance. You can purchase them online.
