After a flight, there’s nothing better than sitting down to a good hearty meal, or a visit to the BBC Good Food Show Scotland. From 6-8 November, a host of celebrity chefs and food lovers will descend on Glasgow and spend their days at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC).
After picking up your Easirent hire car at our Glasgow Airport branch, drive along the M8 and come off at junction 19, about a 12 minute journey from the airport, to the SECC – where there is ample parking – and fill your day with a celebration of all things food and drink.
Hear Britain’s favourite bakers, Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood, on the Interview Stage, watch Michel Roux Jr. and James Martin cooking live in the Supertheatre, visit the Regional Food Pavilion where you can explore the various speciality food and drink from Scotland, try before you buy at the Producer’s Village, and take a stroll around the abundance of exhibitors at this year’s show.
Tickets to the BBC Good Food Show Scotland are available online and on the door, and start at £3 for 6-17 year olds – 0-5 year olds go free – and go up to £21 for adults. Over 65’s receive a discount.
The SECC is a short drive from Glasgow’s city centre where you can sleep off all that food consumed in one of Glasgow’s top 10 hotels or rest those weary feet after all that shopping at one of Glasgow’s top spas.
