Loughborough is the place to be for fans all things miniature. The Big Boys Toys Show is returning to the town for its 11th show at the end of the month and is a celebration of all things modelling and miniature.
The event is returning to Loughborough’s St Peter’s Centre on Storer Road on 24th October from 10.30am. The Big Boys Toys Show has called the St Peter’s Centre its home for three years running now and attracts a lot of attention from model enthusiasts and other collectors. The organiser of the show, Gary Liggins, told the press that it would include a whole range of models including ‘model trains, slot cars, live steam models, steam boats and loads more!’ There are also plans for a scrap heap challenge at the show with two hours for teams to try their hand at some DIY model building.
This year the show has invited the Grantham Light Armoured Tank Division as special guests and they are a group of enthusiasts who have radio-controlled tanks and drive them around obstacle courses and show off their skills. They were personally invited to the event by its organiser and will show off their fully radio controlled vehicles throughout the day.
The Big Boys Toys Show is a must-see event for all fans of modelling and anyone who wants to see some seriously talented modellers showing off the latest tech. The event is in Loughborough town centre and is just a short drive in your Easirent hire car from the airport, with your journey time at less than 20 minutes in total.
