This summer sees the return of the Blackburn Town Hall Street Fair, a series of monthly events that showcase some of the region’s finest artists, designers and makers. The celebration of local creativity, is set to be a fun packed event that will keep the whole family entertained.
The Blackburn Town Hall Street Fair is the ultimate retail experience with a twist; this festival setting allows visitors to explore the winding side-streets of Blackburn while talking in all of the cultural offerings that the event has to offer. There will be plenty of unusual artwork dotted about the town, that you can either purchase, or ponder over. There will also be plenty of hand-made gifts, ceramics, sculpture and artworks for sale, so you’ll be sure to find something to suit your tastes.
This year’s street fair will see a pavement gallery of over 20 street stalls, who will be taking over the pedestrianised area of the town which was once known as Thunder Alley, and the area will be buzzing with activities and creativity, including art workshops, face painting tents and a vintage fairground that is sure to keep the kids entertained.
Hop in your Easirent hire car and head to the Blackburn Town Hall Street Fair on 12 September for an action packed programme of events. Ticket information and opening hours can be found online, so make sure you check before you arrive. We also recommend that you arrive early and nab a bargain before they’re all gone.
