Between 24 October to 1 November, when you pick up your Easirent hire car from our Stansted Airport branch, consider visiting London Zoo and enjoy a scarily family-fun afternoon at the week-long Boo at the Zoo.
This half term, in the Owl Emporium and The Widow’s Lair, young visitors can listen to talks about all things owls and spiders then visit the In with the Spiders exhibit to learn some frightening facts about how arachnids kill their prey and build their sticky webs.
Kids can make bat masks in the Bat Cave, dig in to some pumpkins as they carve out eerie faces for lanterns, then head over to the Grimm Curiosity Shop where they can listen to spooky stories.
The oldest scientific zoo in the world, London Zoo has been open to the public since 1847, and continues to draw in approximately a million visitors each year.
Boo at the Zoo is open from 11am to 4pm for the week and there is no extra charge to take part in the activities. Tickets to London Zoo can be bought on arrival or purchased in advanced online with a discount. Online ticket prices depend on the season.
Parking at the zoo is available on the Outer Circle at Regent’s Park, which is outside the congestion charge zone.
If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital, then check out Easirent’s top attractions outside of London.
