Customer Service Agent Rewarded by Manchester Airport

It is great to hear news of appreciation for a member of staff, Car Hire Manchester Airport reveal this has been the case for somebody at Manchester Airport.

A customer service agent has been rewarded for her work at Manchester Airport. Janet Peppin works in the Executive Lounge and helps many of the 80,000 British Airways customers who use the lounge every year. She has received a special honour for her hard work. The golden ticket initiative gave BA customers the chance to recognise individual staff members who give outstanding service, with Janet receiving 19 nominations.

In honour of her achievement Janet was invited to a reception in London where she was greeted with congratulations and bottles of wine from her boss Frank van der Post. She said “Over 17 years at Manchester I have got to know so many of our regular customers. I do try and help them where I can but I think the most important thing is to greet them with a genuine smile and their name. It’s a pleasure doing what I do but it’s always nice to get official recognition and I’m very grateful to them.”
