Driver Valeter – Job Vacancy

Job Title: Driver / Valeter (Car Rental) – onsite with limited driving
Salary: NMW age related (other bonuses and rewards on target basis)
Hours: Full Time / Part Time / Zero hours contracts available

Job Description:
Working in the Edinburgh and Glasgow area to provide valeting/driving services to our fleet of hire cars during the busy months of June to September
Main Duties:
• Cleaning and polishing hire vehicles inside and out
• Checking and maintenance of vehicles including inspecting for damage and reporting any issues
• Showing the customer around the vehicle and ensuring they know how to operate it and ensuring their paperwork is completed correctly and signed
• Driving / shunting company vehicles around the yard in accordance with the requirements of the Department of Transport and highway code/company policies
Qualifications:
• hold a full UK licence, meet the eligibility criteria to be able to drive under our insurance, and have no more than a maximum of 6 minor penalty points (no drink or drug-related points) is desirable but not essential
• Must have valeting experience
• Have strong attention to detail and be safety conscious
• Have a smart, professional appearance, courteous manner and good rapport building skills
Comments:
This is mainly a valeting role based onsite with driving restricted to the yard and is not suitable for those seeking a long distance driving role
