Hop in your Easirent hire car and head to Glasgow’s beautiful Kelvingrove Park this summer for lots of live entertainment at the Kelvingrove Bandstand.
There will be plenty for all the family to enjoy including acoustic music, art and craft activities and lots of things to keep the kids entertained. Every Wednesday throughout July between 10:30-12:30 you can drop the kids off at the Kelvingrove Bandstand for an action packed morning of fun and games.
Wednesday afternoons are acoustic afternoons. Sit back, relax and enjoy live acoustic from talented local artists – or perhaps you’d like to get up and play a tune yourself?
Don’t miss the Rock Choir on Saturday June 27th from 13:00 – 16:00. This famous choir have performed in renowned venues such as Wembley Arena and the Royal Albert Hall and will be entertaining the crowds with powerful and uplifting music.
During the 2nd-6th July, the Kelvingrove Bandstand plays host to five days of unique, interactive music sessions for kids; the specially designed interactive performances will teach children all about traditional and classical music.
On Saturday July 11th journey back through the ages to the glitz and glamour of the roaring twenties with ‘Trip Through The Twenties’, an action packed, themed event crammed with family activities, fashion, music and a heritage walk through Kelvingrove Park to finish the day.
And there’s more… The Magners Summer Nights Festival closes the show from 6th-15th August, and although this is the only ticketed event of the whole summer festival, it’s not one to be missed. Watch the Liverpudlian ‘70s rock band Echo and the Bunnymen take to the stage to top off a fantastic summer in Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Park.
