Flybe, one of the most popular low cost airlines, has recently announced its new summer season schedules and there are new routes and more flights on the cards for Cardiff. Cardiff Airport will now have a route which takes travellers to the Italian city of Verona.
This new Verona route from Cardiff is part of their larger summer schedule from Flybe, with flights to Verona scheduled once weekly, every Saturday throughout the summer months and it is just one of many destinations travellers from Cardiff can enjoy.
The Flybe summer schedule at Cardiff Airport also includes increased frequencies on a number of flights. Both routes to Milan and Faro have been increased, with flights to both destinations planned to leave Cardiff four times a week throughout the summer season, which runs from March 27th 2016 up until 30th September 2016.
The launch of this newest Verona route means that Flybe now have 14 routes operating at Cardiff airport and this includes two winter services which run to Chambery and Geneva. Other Flybe destinations from Cardiff include Paris Charles de Gaulle, Dusseldorf and several domestic locations including Glasgow and Belfast City.
Flybe operate across a huge range of destinations, with bases at several airports in the UK, including Cardiff. They have recently announced plans to set up a new base at Doncaster Sheffield and are undeterred from adding more routes to their current bases schedule. Cardiff travellers and those from the surrounding area can now enjoy even more flight opportunities.
