Europe’s largest regional airline Flybe have reported a growth in interest in the specially arranged Euro 2016 flights that they announced before Christmas.
The flights, which Flybe will be operating out of Cardiff Airport, will give Welsh football fans the chance to watch their home nation battle it out with the English national team in Lens in June 2016. The airline has announced that there will be three extra scheduled flights to Paris on 15 June and two more flights on 17 June, so that Welsh football fans don’t miss out.
The flights have also been conveniently arranged so that there will be no need for overnight accommodation to be arranged by the fans, as they will be flying back to Cardiff after the match. This will be a welcome change for the Welsh football fans, who would have otherwise had to endure a 24 hour journey by road in order to get to the game. With the new flights from Cardiff, the journey will only take fans one hour and forty minutes which is a much better alternative then having to endure a long journey, combined with an expensive hotel stay in France.
Flights will be departing from Cardiff Airport to Toulouse on 11 and 20 June, and again to Paris on 15 and 17 June. Flybe are advising that fans book their tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
