It is a great city to hold a major business event, according to the staff at Car Hire Liverpool Airport and hope that the event involving a former athlete will help those who attend.
The International Festival for Business (IFB) is currently taking place in Liverpool, with former Olympian Steve Smith being the inspirational speaker for small firms this Friday. The former athlete is now an inspirational speaker and entrepreneur is speaking at Accelerate 2014. It is considered one of the signature events of the IFB, it focuses on helping businesses with excellent prospects to achieve their growth potential.
Steve said, “I’m enormously excited and honoured to be speaking at this year’s Accelerate 2014 event. For me, the best way to learn about building a business is to hear the experiences of others. It is events such as this which prove the most effective way to reach new entrepreneurs, to share advice, and to provide vital support. I think the International Festival for Business is a huge opportunity for Liverpool to have the chance to showcase exactly what it’s made of and is one of the best things we’ve been able to do since the Capital of Culture year.”
This will be the second Accelerate, treating more than a 1,000 delegates to master classes on how to grow their businesses. The Mayor of Liverpool will officially open the even, with chief executive of Liverpool Vision and Chair of IFB 2014, Max Steinberg closing the event.
