After the huge success of the Gateshead Beer and Musical Festival the same team have come together again and are bringing us the Gateshead Winter Food and Craft Fair between 5th and 6th December. Plans are still coming together but it is bound to be a huge and memorable event full of festive cheer and there are plans for over 60 food and craft stalls within the clubhouse and heated marquee provided for the event.
The Gateshead Winter Food and Craft Fair takes place in and around Eastwood Gardens, not far from the centre of the town and it’s less than a 10 mile drive from the airport, just 20 minutes in your Easirent hire car.
The Fair is supporting three selected charities to make the event even more special with Save the Children, the Salvation Army Toy Appeal and Gateshead Food Bank having a presence amongst the stalls, with collection points for the latter two available. There will also be an entertainments programme including the Salvation Army Brass Band and plenty of other musicians and entertainers to keep shoppers and browsers entertained as they explore the full range of market stalls available.
The on-site bar will be serving specially sourced Christmas ales including those with names such as Xmas Chaos, Sants Paws and Hapi Christmas and of course no seasonal celebration would be complete without plenty of mulled wine and cider to enjoy as you shop and explore the huge range of crafts and food gifts available.
