Car Hire Gatwick Airport are pleased to share the news of the airport resuming the link to China after the Christmas winter break.
Services will resume at Gatwick Airport for their route to Beijing in China after the break in the route for winter. Air China will fly from Gatwick Airport four times a week during the summer, when passenger demand is at its strongest.
Xiaoming Wu, general manager for Air China UK and Ireland, said “There is an increasingly strong demand for air travel between the UK and China’s major cities. Last year alone the number of passengers who flew between the two countries exceeded two million, and Air China feels that it is now an excellent opportunity to capture business in such a massive market.”
Upon the airlines arrival back at Gatwick Airport, it was greeted with a lion dance ceremony, the traditional fire truck water arch salute and a fantastic cake.
