The school summer holidays are upon us and we all know that the kids can become hard work if they are not kept entertained. So why not hire a car or minibus from Easirent Car and Van Hire and take the family up to the Lake District, or, even better, why not treat the family to a camping trip because at Easirent Car and Van Hire we also have motorhomes and campervans available.
Whilst there why not take in the picturesque sights and the fresh air on Catbells Lakeland Walk. Catbells is a short, sharp, steep climb richly rewarded by the views of mountains and lakes. On its own this short walk could be gently ambled along to make the most of a clear day. An afternoon, or summer evening brisk stroll would delight too
One reviewer on Trip Advisor commented:
“I don’t review places that often. But this was a very lovely day. Started with a nice boat ride to get to where we needed to start the hike. Amazing views from the water. The hike itself was challenging enough to feel like you’ve accomplished something when you get to the top, but easy enough for beginners to come along. My fiancé had never hiked before and did it with a 25lb camera bag on her back.
Once you get to the top the view is worth it as well. I would do this again. Lovely area.”
