Car Hire Glasgow Airport staff would love to get a chance to view the biggest passenger aeroplane landing and taking off at the airport.
Glasgow Airport is preparing for a large crowd on the 10th April for the worlds largest passenger plane, as Emirates Airlines makes a one-off flight to Dubai to mark ten years at Glasgow Airport. The Airbus A380, the worlds largest passenger plane will be used to mark the occasion. There was big interest in the plane when it landed at Manchester Airport in 2010. It has the capacity to carry in excess of 850 passengers if only flying with economy seats.
Glasgow Airport has issued information for those travelling to the airport and those wanting to view the landing and departure on that day. Preparations with Renfrewshire Council and Police Scotland are under way to ensure the safety of visitors and the congestion around the airport.
Viewing areas will be limited in specific areas around the perimeter of the airfield, plus no waiting will be allowed or parking permitted on any of the airport’s perimeter roads.
