Calling all film fans! The Glasgow Film Festival will be arriving in the city this month, so make sure that you’ve got your tickets, and get involved. Taking place from 17 to 28 February 2016, the Glasgow Film Festival is an annual event in the heart of Glasgow city centre, which celebrates the very est that cinema has to offer.
Film takes us on a journey, to different realms, different countries and varied landscapes. It is the perfect escape mechanism and it allows for us to walk in the footsteps of others, and experience the agony and the ecstasy of what makes us human. The Glasgow Film Festival is a 12 day celebration of all things film. There will be film premiers, intimate dramas and themed film tents – so you’ll be sure to find something that will suit your tastes.
The festival doesn’t take place in a specific venue, instead it makes use of a plethora of different places and spaces across the city, so this festival is as much a celebration of Glasgow’s buildings as it is of film.
Tickets for the festival went on sale on 26 January, and they’ll certainly sell out quickly, so make sure that you get yours soon, to avoid disappointment.
