Much-loved indie/alt four-piece Florence & the Machine, who headlined the Pyramid Stage at the world-famous Glastonbury Festival in June, will play Manchester Arena on September 18th 2015 as part of their extensive 2015 world tour. Since forming in 2007, the band have released three critically-acclaimed albums, the latest of which, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, debuted at number one in 8 countries, including the UK, USA, and Canada. Manchester Arena has been open, under various different names, since 1995, and has played host to countless legends of the music industry, including U2, Madonna, Muse, Lady Gaga, and the Rolling Stones. The arena was also used as an venue for the London 2012 Summer Olympics, when it played host to Team GB’s semi-final basketball clash with the USA.
The arena, which is housed in the same building complex as Manchester Victoria train station, is just a 20-minute drive from our Easirent site at Manchester Airport, and the venue site provides ample parking. Visit the venue’s official website for ticket information and a list of upcoming events, which includes the likes of One Direction, Fall Out Boy, and Motley Crue, who will play their last-ever Manchester show at the arena.
