Preston Masonic Hall
This magnificent building opened in 1944 and is located in the centre of Preston. The building has been developed and extended over the years and now caters for weddings, parties, dinner/dances, conferences and all types of special occasions. They host various public and private events including wedding fairs and Coffee mornings throughout the year and offer a silver service dining experience. For business users they have fully equipped conference rooms that can facilitate corporate events for between 12 and 200 delegates.
St John’s Minster
Formerly the church of St John the Evangelist, St John’s minister Church is located at Church Street in the centre of Preston. The building is a grade II listed building which has been restored inside and features a large mural painted by a German POW after the Second World War. The church has parking for your hire car and offers a place of worship and prayer in the heart of Preston.
St Peter’s Arts Centre
St Peter’s Arts Centre is a redundant Anglican parish church that became part of Preston Polytechnic in 1973. The arts centre hosts various large scale theatre and event productions and has room to accommodate up to 250 people. The building was formerly a church building and is now a listed building. The rich acoustics of this building along with architectural design make this a great site to see.
