The Investors in People award is a framework for each company, that they can use to their advantage, as well as gaining access to a huge network of professionals who are on hand to help them run a successful business.
London Gatwick Airport scored 168 out of 188 in the Investors in People evidence requirements, which were determined following 119 interviews with a wide range of the airport’s staff members.
Darren Hockaday, London Gatwick Airport’s human resources director said:
“We are all extremely proud to have achieved the IiP Gold Standard award. While there is always more to do, this accreditation is very encouraging and we will build on it to improve the way we work with our staff even further.
“The people who work at Gatwick’s are the airport’s most important resource. Only by supporting and encouraging our staff will the airport truly succeed as a business.”
