Everyone at Car Hire Luton Airport is in agreement with their local team bringing in somebody with experience to help when it gets tough during games this season.
An experienced attacking player could well be brought in by Luton Town manager John Still before the end of the transfer window. After losing Andre Gray to Brentford during the summer, John Still has brought forwards Ross Lafayette, Ricky Miller and Charlie Walker into the club.
Still said “Would I have brought one more attacking player in, with that little bit more experience? Maybe, but he wasn’t there and I’m never going to go out and sign a player, just to fill a place because someone’s not there. If and when that player was to become available, then we might do that, but he’s not. We have ideas of what we want, but if they’re not available or we can’t get them for whatever reason, then I’m not going to jump into it and get the wrong one. We’ll wait until we get the right one.”
Still wasn’t particularly looking to utilise the loan market though like last season if he can help it.
