Manchester’s popular Beer and Cider Festival has stepped up its game for its third year, moving into bigger and better premises at Manchester centre. Formerly held at Manchester’s Velodrome the event is the regional’s largest dedicated festival to the finest beers and ciders and organisers have confirmed it will be taking place in late January, from 20th until 23rd.
The event is organised by the Manchester branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) and has proved to be hugely popular in previous year. Bringing in visitors from around the region and beyond, if you’re flying in you can pick up your Easirent hire car from our Manchester Airport pick up point and be conveniently in Manchester city centre in around 20 minutes.
The Manchester Beer and Cider Festival promises to bring over 500 different beers, ciders and perries to the city. A huge selection of cask conditions craft ales and traditionally produced ciders and perries will be sampled and sold alongside draught beer from international producers and there will be plenty of new and interesting producers to explore, even for the most dedicated beer and ale fans.
The 2016 event is expected to bring as many 13,000 visitors to the city, many travelling from all over the UK and beyond and as Manchester already has a strong profile as a leading home of excellent craft beer, this event just serves to further improve their reputation. The event takes place over a four day period and volunteers are expected to sell over 50,000 pints throughout the event.
