Winter is firmly arriving in Manchester on 12th November as the city centre’s biggest ice rink is erected in New Bailey, just minutes from the popular Spinningfields area and it provides a fun and festive environment to enjoy with friends, colleagues and family alike. The ice rink will remain in the city throughout the Christmas period, all the way until 3rd January so there is plenty of opportunity to visit it and enjoy the festive experience.
Visiting Manchester in the Christmas period is a great way of getting some shopping done and with festive attractions like the ice rink it’s worth taking the whole family along. New Bailey is just on the edge of the city centre and is just under 10 minutes from the airport, making it a quick and convenient area to reach in your Easirent hire car.
The Manchester Ice Rink is surrounded by festive cheer with choristers, DJs and special themed sessions organised throughout November and December. There is family entertainment too and the provision of Penguin Skating Supports allow even the littlest skaters onto the ice without too man wobbles. There will also be fairground rides and a Christmas-themed bar where warm mulled wine and festive ciders can be bought. There are discounts available both for students and family and it’s a great way of winding up a day of hectic Christmas shopping or a visit to the city which needs an injection of festive fun. Early bird tickets for the ice rink are on sale for a short while so get in quick.
