Thursday 22nd of October 2015
From Friday 20 November 2015 to Monday 2 May 2016, the Tate Liverpool will be displaying The Snail, 1953. At three metres squared, it is one of Matisse’s largest works. This will be the only opportunity to see this most significant cut-out piece outside of London.
When you collect your Easirent hire car at our Bootle branch, drive along to the Albert Dock where the Tate Liverpool – the most popular gallery of modern and contemporary art outside of London – is situated. There, alongside The Snail, you can view over 50 years of Matisse’s impressive career.
Families can also use the Fun Station, which will be stocked with brightly coloured sheets of paper. Kids and adults can get creative and work together to cut and tear the paper into shapes and make their own art pieces.
Parking your Easirent hire car is no problem as there is a multistorey car park at Kings Dock, next to the Albert Dock or you can use Q-Park in Liverpool ONE, with 2,000 underground spaces.
At the Albert Dock you can also visit other popular attractions such as The Beatles Story, the Maritime Museum, and the Slavery Museum. The Museum of Liverpool is also only a short distance away where you can learn about the story of Liverpool and its people.
