Car Hire Stansted Airport will be gearing up for new car hire customers from a city in Germany.
There has been a new flight confirmed from Stansted Airport by airline Germanwings to Dusseldorf. It has just been voted the German city with the best quality of life for the second time running. Germanwings is operating the new route as twice-daily, in the morning and evening with flights on weekdays; one flight on Saturdays and Sundays.
It is said to be a fantastic European hot spot as collectively it boasts ‘the longest bar counter in the world’, a phrase used to describe the number of bars, pubs and breweries in the old town.
Andrew Harrison, Stansted MD, said “I’m delighted to welcome the first Germanwings service between Dusseldorf and London, which I’m sure will be very popular for both business and leisure travel.”
