Car Hire Manchester Airport will soon be able to potentially recommend a couple of exciting new restaurant additions to the city which are opening in the coming summer months.
New jobs will soon be available in Manchester as specialist steakhouse Miller and Carter is to open in May creating around fifty jobs, at the site where Lloyds Bank on King Street used to be. The restaurant chain currently has thirty branches, with others due to open around the country.
There will be specialist training for the entire team and all will attend a commissioned butchery demonstration to guarantee they are then complete steak experts.
Lee Hughes, the new manager at Miller & Carter Manchester, said “Manchester has a vibrant dining scene and a wide selection of grill-style restaurants. Miller & Carter will set itself apart by showcasing steak expertise in the city. We are incredibly passionate about steak and this really shows through in the food we serve. The old Lloyds Bank is a fantastic building and a great location for us. Work on the new site is well under way and we are looking forward to opening our doors for business in May.”
On top of this there is a further opening in June for a new food bar called Wahu, creating fifteen new jobs. It will be located on The Avenue, Spinningfields and will fulfil the demand for fast and healthy food.
