It is great for Car Hire Liverpool Airport to report that a new route has been announced to another local European destination that will potentially bring in more car hire business.
Liverpool Airport will operate a service to Larnaka International Airport in Cyprus from 2nd November with airline Easyjet. It will run twice a week using an A320 aircraft.
Lee Lipton, director of air services marketing at Vantage Airport Group said, “Northern England travellers will have the opportunity to experience the largest island in the Mediterranean and enjoy the more than 300 days of sunshine that Cyprus offers every year. This new connection between our airline and airport partners is a market opportunity that we helped identify and translate into flights that benefit our partners and the communities and passengers they serve.”
The announcement was made by the group who manage and own both gateways, at World Routes last week.
Matthew Thomas, president and CEO, Vantage Airports UK said, “Another new destination from Liverpool John Lennon Airport is an exciting addition for our local customers. Working with an airport within the Vantage network on this flight is unique and will ensure that our passengers remember their holiday and their experience at our airports for all the right reasons.”
