Oktoberfest is a huge and popular German celebration which has made its way to the UK with great success. The London Oktoberfest went down such a storm that the organisers are now bringing their traditional Bavarian celebration to Nottingham. For five days at the end of the month and into November, Nottingham’s Forrest Recreation Ground will become a party of all things German.
Oktoberfest in Nottingham is running form 28th October until 1st November and is bound to be absolutely tons of fun. Visitors coming in for the event can reach the event site quickly and easily from East Midlands airport. Simply pick up your Easirent hire car and drive the short 25-30 minute drive into Nottingham city centre.
Oktoberfest will bring the spirit of Southern Germany to Nottingham with a huge range of different beers to sample as well as German cuisine, plenty of traditional costume including Lederhosen and a fun and friendly atmosphere. A huge tent will be home to the festival where there will be a chance to immerse yourself in the experience.
Delicious German food, including Schnitzel and Bavarian fries, will be served up alongside authentic specially brewed Oktoberfest Beer, served up in 1.5 pint glasses. If you fancy getting into costume there will be both Dirndl and Lederhosen on sale and Nottingham will get experience what those in London have already loved.
The festival offers both regular and VIP tickets and visitors can be sure of a memorable experience with German music and dance as well as the culinary delights.
