VAT Local Tax

This is a Tax applied by the Government on Car Hire; the percentage (%) in the United Kingdom is 20%. Our online prices include Tax.

Road Fund Tax / VLF

We apply this cost, included in your online quote, to cover the cost of vehicle licensing.

Driver Age

For car hire and van hire our minimum age is 25 and our maximum age is 75.

Responsibility of keys

If the hirer leaves the keys in the vehicle or not in a secure place & the vehicle is stolen, the hirer is responsible for reimbursing Easirent for the full value of the vehicle.

Loss of keys

If you fail to return the keys to Jaybank Leisure Ltd you will be charged £300.00 + VAT

Breakdown Assistance

All Branches have national assistance should the renter require it in the unlikely event. You will be given the number and contact details at the time of rental.

Free Mileage and Excess Mileage

1 Day = 150 Miles Per Day, 150 Miles Total
2 Day = 150 Miles Per Day, 300 Miles Total
3 Day = 150 Miles Per Day, 450 Miles Total
4 Day = 125 Miles Per Day, 500 Miles Total
5 Day = 100 Miles Per Day, 500 Miles Total
6 Days = 83 Miles Per Day, 500 Miles Total
7 Days+ = 71 Miles Per Day, 500 Miles Weekly

If you exceed the daily mileage, a charge of 25p plus VAT per mile is payable at the end of the rental. Hires over 1 week have a daily excess mileage of 70 per day.

Overseas Travel

Hirer's can take their hire vehicle overseas. We must see proof of cover in the unlikely event that your hire vehicle breaks down overseas. We do provide road side assistance, but this extends to UK main land only.

Taking the hire vehicle overseas also incurs an additional Green Card Cover charge.

Fuel Procedure

All vehicles are level-to-level. We do not offer any refunds for fuel unused.

Useful Information

Driving Licence

To hire from us, UK Licence holders must have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years, with no more than 6 points.

Subject to insurance approval.

Non UK Licence holders must call the branch on 01942 77 88 99 prior to booking.

• 2 x Proofs of Address
• Card License
• DVLA check code

Campervans and Motorhome Bookings

All Campervan and Motorhome bookings require a non refundable 250.00 GBP deposit at the time of the booking.

Credit Cards

To rent a car from Easirent you must hold a valid credit card. Van customers must hold either a Debit Card or Credit Card.

Excess and Excess Reduction for cars and vans

For car and small/medium vans our excess is £1,250.
For large vans our excess is £1,500.

We have the following Excess Reduction Packages available:

• Cars & small to medium vans - £250.00 Excess/ Deposit for only £20 /day
• Large/X-Large vans (e.g. Boxer LWB / Luton) - £500.00 Excess/ Deposit for only £25 /day

Excess and Excess Reduction for motorhomes and campervans

Excess / Deposits on our motorhomes is £2,000. You can reduce this down to:

• £500.00 for a daily charge of £35, or
• £1,250.00 for a daily charge of £25, or

Our campervans have an excess deposit of £1,500, you can reduce this down as follows:

• £750.00 for £20 per day, or
• £500.00 for £25 per day

These options are payable at the time of pick up.

Optional Extras Available

We can provide a range of bookings extras such as Sat Nav/ GPS, Extra Drivers, Baby Seats, Child Seats, Booster Seats, Mobile Phones, Upgrades and Green Card Cover for Travelling Abroad.
