The Preston Guild Wheel was created as a lasting legacy of the 2012 Preston Guild and provides an excellent leisure resource for cyclists, and walkers. The Guild wheel is a 21 mile long Greenway that can be completed in less than 2 hours if your a fast cyclists and up to 4 hours if you want to take a stroll along the route.
The Guild Wheel passes through varied landscapes and the view is lovely to see. There are signs to help you find your way around the route and you are able to start your journey anywhere along the route.The Guild Wheel route makes the most of the different landscapes that surround the city of Preston, creating a rich and varied environment for everyone to enjoy. This is an ideal opportunity to show the family the Ribble Link Canel, Brockholes Nature reserve, Preston Parks, The Docks and the River Ribble and all the while getting some healthy exercise at the same time.
