Secret Cinema: The Empire Strikes Back

Pick up your Easirent hire car from our London Heathrow Airport depot and head to the Secret Cinema: The Empire Strikes back.

Much like the Jedi, Secret Cinema has returned, and it’s bigger and better than ever. The event is shrouded in mystery and set in a secret location. Visitors are invited along to a fully immersive theatre experience which is always themed around a film. This time around, Secret Cinema are tackling the cinematic giant Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.

Running until 27 September 2015, audiences are invited to experience the film first hand, 35 years after its original release. Set in a secret location, which has been transformed into a giant immersive cinema experience, audience members are asked to come dressed for the occasion; think Princess Leia hairstyles and C3P0 shiny pants.

The event combines performance, theatre, music and film and is definitely not one to be missed. There will be over 500 DJs taking part, as well as bands and performers across 4 stages. Famous faces will include Goldie, Jamie Jones, Posthuman and Simian Mobile Disco.

Tickets for the event are available on the Secret Cinema website, and although they are a little pricier than your average cinema ticket, this isn’t an experience you’ll want to miss. Adult tickets for Secret Cinema: The Empire Strikes Back cost £78 and child tickets cost £28. Audience members are advised to arrive at the event between 17:30 and 18:30 Tuesday to Sunday, with the last entry at 19:00.
