Car Hire Liverpool Airport staff have urged any car hire customers to make some time for the Sound City festival which is now drawing to a close.
The Liverpool Sound City three day music festival as chart topping Clean Bandit opened it all headlining at the Anglican Cathedral, with Super Furry Animals front man Gruff Rhys performing at the East Village Arts Club.
Over the course of the festival acts will perform at many different venues such as the Nations club in Wolstenholme Square and a Mersey ferry.
Sound City chief executive Dave Pichilingi said “As always, we want Sound City to be about much more than great gigs – it’s about inspiring people and musicians. So we’ll hear from musical pioneers, digital leaders and some of the key players from fashion and sport.”
While the main element of the festival is the performers, there is also a conference showcase for Liverpool’s music industry, including debates and workshops focusing on the key issues it faces. There has also been many other things going on this year than just music for people to get involved in.
