This month, the Spanish airline company Vueling have announced that they will be commencing three times weekly flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Barcelona El Prat Airport from March 2016.
Liverpool John Lennon Airport has nine airlines operating from its terminal building altogether and has seen the addition of five additional airlines in the past 12 months alone. The new routes from Liverpool Airport to Barcelona El Prat Airport will begin on 27 March 2016 every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday throughout the year.
The Wednesday and Friday flights will depart from Liverpool John Lennon Airport at 14:25 and arrive in the Spanish city of Barcelona at 12:10. On Sundays, the service will depart Liverpool Airport at 09:40 and arrive at El Prat at 07:25. The times will suit passengers who will be flying for both business and leisure as it will allow people to stay in the Catalan city for whole weeks and weekends at a time.
Vueling is the largest airline servicing Barcelona El Prat Airport and its 90 Airbus 320s operate over 300 different routes to over 130 different cities worldwide, including cities in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
