“I wasn’t expecting it to be so nice!” a comment we hear quite a lot from customers when they first get into their cars. When a car is rather plain or boring on the outside, you don’t expect much on the inside. But that’s where you’d be wrong! Take a look and be surprised at the lovely inside of some of our hire cars.
The Citroen C1 is surprisingly modern, vibrant and fresh in the interior. Sleek lines and a clean design on the dashboard create a decorative look around the multimedia panel and the air vent trim. Citroen have created a sassy look matching the colour of the trim, door panels and even the speedometer to the colour of the car. Citroen aims to maximise comfort – the temperature is controlled by an automatic air conditioning system, the driving seat can be adjusted to match your height and the three door version offers a memory setting for your convenience. Enjoy the simplicity of the Citroen’s ‘Touch Screen’ technology, navigate your way through the media functions such as phone and audio options. Take the ‘guess work’ out of reverse parking using the reversing camera; extremely useful when driving in a town or city maneuvering into the tightest parking space with ease! Another surprising feature of the Citroen is the ‘Hill Start Assist’, it holds the car steady for 2 seconds at a radiant of 3% increasing the drivers control of the vehicle. Enjoy the luxury of a Keyless Entry and Start function. With many surprising features and the pleasing aesthetics, the ‘reversing camera’ is the biggest asset when driving a Citroen, as it saves time when parking and is extremely efficient. Citroen always make well-equipped and durable cars so we would definitely recommend the C1 in the A category for price AND comfort!
This compact car offers many surprising features both with a bold new style and state of the art technology. The trims match the colour of the car and the fabric of the seating can be specified to your choice offering a unique retro look (such as checked). The Mock- Backelite Inserts and heater add to the retro charm while they are still easy to use and understand. Like the Citroen and the Ford Fiesta, Bluetooth and audio streaming is available. Listen to your favourite music by plugging in your i-pod or i-phone. The U connect multimedia device is displayed on a 5” touch screen, operated by voice commands and includes the 2.5D TomTom (Satellite Navigation). The new U connect™ LIVE system also allows you to integrate your smartphone and use many apps on the on-board system. This state of the art technology helps you stay in contact with your friends on Twitter, access 35 million music tracks on Deezer, offers 100 thousand radio stations with Tune-In, get real-time news and traffic updates from Reuters as well as check for speed cameras and weather thanks to TomTom LIVE. The Fiat 500 is a compact and trendy vehicle, the interior is surprisingly fashionable and with full access to social media, travel information and news, it offers some great features. Overall this car boasts a fun and stylish interior and is pleasurable to drive and operate, though we’d perhaps recommend the Fiat 500X for those a little taller…
The Ford Fiesta offers a sleek black interior beautifully crafted, stylish without sacrificing comfort. Like the Citroen C1, the Ford Fiesta offers a simplicity of a ‘key-less’ start, allowing you to lock and unlock your vehicle with ease. The sound system is ‘state of the art’ and includes a Sony DAB radio, CD system and eight premium audio speakers. The screen displays all the details of your favourite music; the latest news headlines are also featured on the screen. Drive with comfort and ease, the Ford Fiesta has sensors to assist with parking and general road awareness which improves safety. Driving is also aided by the advanced power steering, making driving effortless whether parking your vehicle or improving control when driving on the motorway. The advantage of the Ford Fiesta is that unlike rival vehicles whose power steering operates continuously consuming high levels of fuel and energy, the Ford Fiesta maintains the speed at constant, reducing the need for the acceleration, great for your pocket as well as the environment! The Ford SYNC (Advanced Hands Free Technology), accesses your favourite music through the aid of USB or MP3, as well as streaming music via Bluetooth. This technology increases road safety, as the SYNC can read text messages and be directed through voice commands, keeping the drivers full attention on the road! Features that differentiate the Ford Fiesta is the ‘’My Key’’ safety programme, this is an advantage when sharing your vehicle, pre-set the speed limit, activate the seatbelt reminder and even programme the volume of the radio! The central console displays all these features including a button that de-ices your car on a frosty morning. Ambient lighting is available in red as you enter the car and is standard on vehicles such as the Zetec, Titanium and Titanuim X. All of which we stock for hire customers.
