Travel back in time this summer at the Preston Vintage Guild 2015. Expect vintage music and entertainment galore as the Preston Guild Hall transforms itself into a haven for vintage lovers and bargain hunters from Friday 11th September to Sunday 13th September.
The weekend kicks off with a bang as The New Squadronaires, an 18 piece orchestra based on the 1940’s air force band The Squadronaires, transport guests back to a bygone era with their swing classics from the likes of Glen Miller, Harry James and Tommy Dorsey.
Whether you’re interested in food or fashion, there is plenty for you to get stuck into over the weekend. Bag yourself a bargain at one of the many vintage clothing stalls that will be set up in the Guild Hall; attend a hair and makeup workshop and perfect those ‘Victory Rolls’; or maybe just relax in the vintage food hall to the backdrop of some authentic 1940s music.
The action packed, themed event doesn’t stop there, with the evening brings big bands, sing along dances and flash mobs, and of course, the Sunday evening Vintage Sing Along which costs only £10 per person.
There will be a classic three course gala dinner for ticket holders on the Friday evening at 19:00. Tickets to the gala dinner will be £40, make sure you order yours early as they are sure to sell out. Day tickets to the Preston Vintage Guild are available from £7.50 for general admission.
