If you’re hitting the streets of London to do some serious sightseeing, then you’ll need to make sure that you’re fully prepared for the day. Here at Easirent, we have picked out some of our favourite spots for a delicious breakfast in the capital.
1. Albion Neo Bankside
The Albion Neo Bankside is located in Southwark, and as you can imagine, this makes it a little pricier than most of the places on this list. However, it serves up some of the best breakfasts in the centre of London, so it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Specialising in breakfast, this restaurant offers up everything from toast and marmite to a full English breakfast. The slightly more health conscious can choose from the wide range of cereals, fruits and yoghurts that the cafe has on offer.
2. Bull and Last
Pick up your Easirent hire car from our London Heathrow Airport branch and head to the Bull and Last in Dartmouth Park for a bit of brekkie. This rustic style gastropub serves up a wide selection of breakfast options, from healthy yoghurt and cereals to the heartier option of sweetcorn fritters and smashed avocado on toast. Make sure that you try out the wild sea trout with scrambled eggs while you’re there.
Located in the trendy Shoreditch, Dishoom is a Bombay style cafe set inside a colonial themed building with a verandah and furnished with bamboo blinds and quirky knick knacks. Dishoom is a hit with both locals and tourists alike, and people rave about their bacon rolls, which are made up of a warm naan, smothered in cream cheese, with tomato chilli jam, coriander and plenty of rashers of bacon.
4. E Pellicci
From our Easirent branch at London Heathrow Airport, head for breakfast at E Pillicci in Bethnal Green. Housed in a beautiful Grade II listed building, this lovely little greasy spoon is packed full of atmosphere and the decor has an opulent feel throughout. The cafe is a hit with regulars, who return time and time again to devour Mama Maria’s food, which she has been preparing in the establishment since 1961.
5. Frank’s Canteen
Located in Highbury, Frank’s Canteen is a serene and welcoming canteen, offering delicious breakfast food to the locals. Pick from the wide selection of breakfast options, which include delicious potato and marscapone frittata served with black pudding. Frank’s Canteen is also famed for its good coffee, good music and its generous portion sizes.
