Are you flying into Manchester Airport and planning on some sightseeing? All you have to do is pick up an Easirent hire car from our Manchester Airport branch, press play on your road trip playlist and hit the road. Manchester and the surrounding area has got a plethora of tourist attractions, family activities and cultural events to keep you going for months, so you best make sure that you’re well fed before you head off. Here at Easirent we have selected some of our favourite breakfasts in the city, to make sure that you’re well fuelled for your day of exploring. Enjoy.
1. Oak Street Cafe
Hop in your Easirent hire car and head to the Oak Street Cafe, a real gem in the heart of central Manchester. This small eatery has an unassuming decor throughout, but the food they serve is anything but. The Oak Street Cafe’s breakfasts are a hit with both locals and tourists alike and they have a steady stream of regulars who return time and time again for their perfect pancakes and tasty teacakes.
2. The Hideaway
Are you looking to support your local butcher, baker (candlestick maker?) – then The Hideaway is the place for you. Sourcing all of their meat from the local butchers down the road, this fine little eatery is popular with breakfast diners on a daily basis. If you’re a vegetarian or vegan, then not to worry, The Hideaway cooks up a mean veggie breakfast, complete with delicious grilled halloumi and chilli scrambled tofu.
3. Sugar Junction
Sugar Junction is located in the Northern Quarter of Manchester city centre and it’s the place to go if you’re a bit of a sweet tooth when it comes to breakfast – surprisingly enough. If a delicious pancake, smothered in maple syrup and fruit is your idea of a dream breakfast, then jump in your Easirent hire car and make Sugar Junction your first port of call.
4. The Koffee Pot
If you’re looking for a traditional greasy spoon, then the Koffee Pot is the place for you. A stalwart on the breakfast circuit for years, Koffee Pot cooks up a brilliant Full English breakfast, or if you’re looking for something a little different, then try the eggs benedict. Personally, we think that you can’t go wrong with a bacon butty, but don’t just take our word for it, hop in your Easirent hire car and find out for yourself.
5. Albert’s Shed
Many would be mistaken by the name of this little eatery, which can be found in the Castlefield area of Manchester, but this modern, spacious building specialises in a top quality breakfast with all the trimmings. Relax with a delicious Full English, as you gaze out the window across the beautiful Bridgewater Canal.
