1. Coffee Jar
Nestled in the fashionable Camden area of London, Coffee Jar is relatively new on the scene in comparison to its coffee counterparts. Opened in 2013, this small, intimate coffee shop is well hidden amidst the hustle and bustle of the areas marketplaces and eateries. Seating only 10 people, Coffee Jar prides itself on producing the perfect cup of coffee, with premium coffee beans and a highly skilled barista with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry. If you’d like a snack to accompany your cuppa, then Coffee Jar provides a limited menu comprising of sandwiches and snacks.
2. Ozone Coffee
Less than a 24 mile drive from our Easirent pick up point at London Heathrow Airport and you’ll come across Ozone Coffee, the go-to coffee shop in the hipster area of Shoreditch. The New Zealand born owner of this popular coffee hangout has nailed the perfect cup of coffee to a tee, and that’s probably why you’ll be hard pushed to find a seat in this trendy venue during peak hours. However, don’t let that put you off – it’s certainly worth the wait. Choose something from the menu if you’re feeling peckish while you’re waiting for your coffee, Ozone Coffee has a wide selection of unusual yet delicious food options.
3. FreeState Coffee
Hop in your Easirent hire car at our London Heathrow Airport depot and head to FreeState Coffee, which is just a 20 mile drive away in the London area of Holborn. This thriving independent coffee shop has been decked out with weird and wonderful unmatched furnishings, which add to the cosy atmosphere inside. It’s difficult to find a coffee shop with more choice than FreeState Coffee; choose from Ethiopian Konga Natural Yirgacheffe coffee, or create your own blend from a range of Guatemalan, Indonesian, Indian and Brazilian coffee beans. Food is also available, but it’s a little on the pricey side.
4. Look Mum No Hands!
Part coffee shop, part cycling shop, Look Mum No Hands! Is located on London’s Old Street and is decorated to a cycling theme. About a 30 minute drive from our Easirent depot in London Heathrow Airport, Look Mum No Hands! Specialises in not only a great cup of coffee but also a wide range of different food available for very low prices. It’s definitely one to visit if you’re looking for a cheap yet delicious coffee in the capital.
5. The Elgin
Located in London’s Maida Vale, The Elgin is an old pub which has been transformed into a quirky coffee shop. Big, bright and airy, The Elgin has an extensive food menu, which they source locally and they make all of their own bread on the premises each day. Whether you’re looking for the perfect cup of coffee or an alcoholic drink – The Elgin is the place for you.
