Top 5 Coffee Shops in Dublin City

Are you jetting off to the Emerald Isle any time soon? Looking for a cosy café to relax in before you set off on your tourist trails? Here at Easirent we have selected some of our favourite coffee shops and cafes in Dublin, to quench your thirst before you hop in your Easirent hire car and explore the beautiful rolling countryside of Ireland.

Remember, we have a Easirent Dublin Car Hire branch located right in the city centre!

1. Kaph

Pronounced the way you’d imagine a cockney geezer saying ‘caf’ – Kaph is a brand new, hip coffee house on Dublin’s Drury Street. Serving up speciality coffee to the backdrop of some brilliant tunes from days gone by, this little coffee shop has got something for everyone. Special dietary requirements? Not to worry as the menu includes a coconut latte and wheat free, dairy free and gluten free brownies. There is also an onsite store for coffee lovers to invest in some of the cafe’s delicious coffee beans.

2. Vice

Open from 11am to 6pm daily, Vice is located inside Dublin’s Wigwam and has recently undergone an extensive renovation to make it a real hit with the locals. Serving up plenty of pastries and snacks, this little cafe has an ever changing menu, ensuring that there is always something for everyone to enjoy. Doughnut fans will be pleased to hear that Vice stocks the Dublin Doughnut Co. doughnuts, so go ahead and treat yourself.

3. Brother Hubbard

Pick up your hire car from the Easirent Dublin Airport branch and head to Brother Hubbard, a lovely little independently run coffee shop in the heart of Dublin city centre. Serving up fresh, seasonal, home made food, Brother Hubbard transforms into a Middle Eastern delight from 6pm onwards, so make sure that you head over and try something a little different.

4. Accents Coffee and Tea

Winner of a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, this artisan coffee shop is open daily until 11pm, serving guests delicious coffee, well into nightfall. Accents Coffee and Tea Lounge specialises in fair trade, organic coffee from all over the world and it’s been rumoured to make the best hot chocolate in Dublin, but don’t take our word for it – head over in your Easirent hire car and check it out for yourself.

5. 3Fe

3Fe is a contemporary coffee shop located on the southern edge of the city, just a short drive from our Easirent pick up point at Dublin Airport. Highly valued with both locals and tourists alike, 3Fe overlooks the grand canal and offers up a fresh menu which changes daily – there is also an onsite shop where visitors can purchase the likes of brewers kettles, coffee scales and coffee grinders.
