Car Hire Edinburgh Airport know that the opening of the new building has moved a step closer with the ceremony which took place at the airport recently.
The expansion at Edinburgh Airport completed the traditional topping out ceremony as the EAST expansion project reached its final height. Chief executive Gordon Dewar and local MSP Colin Keir were on site to mark the occasion.

In a speech by Dewar he thanked staff and the construction contractor for what has been a team effort to have achieved so much so soon. Edinburgh Airport is also having crucial work on its main runway during the next two weeks, to make sure it is safe for operation, with an expected 380 aircraft a day over the summer. Work will be carried out between 11pm-5.30am during the two weeks, beginning 3rd May.
