One of the smartest cars out there, the Altima is one model you won’t find lacking in technology. Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Intelligent Cruise Control keep you in total control of your drive. It even has a front grille that shuts at high speeds to enhance aerodynamic performance and boost efficiency. The beautifully designed interior greets you with luxurious, soft leather-appointed seats. All around you is style, comfort and quality materials.


Attractive inside and out, it has comfy seats, nice materials, and many connectivity features. A 2.0-liter four and electric motor pair with the hybrid to offer all-wheel-drive. Safety options include intelligent cruise control and automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection. Inside you’re in for a quieter ride with thickened glass and sound-absorbing materials in the floor to keep out the noise of outside traffic. Other interior features include heated seats, a 7.0-inch infotainment screen, a digital information display between the tachometer and the speedo, and a heated steering wheel.

Now in its second generation, the Compass boasts sharp looks and all-terrain talent at an easy-to-swallow price. A 2.4-liter inline-four sends 180 hp to the front or all wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard Uconnect infotainment and optional Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are welcome luxuries in a comfortable cabin. The Selec-terrain knob switches on the all-wheel-drive system, which offers Rock, Snow, Sand, Mud and Auto modes, in addition to buttons for 4WD Low (crawl mode) and hill-descent control. It’s big and roomy inside with attractive red stitching and black leather seats.


The four-door sports car with a massive 300hp and quiet, luxury cabin with an 8.0-inch touchscreen with nav and Apple CarPlay (no Android Auto). Automated emergency braking is standard. The Maxima is rated number 1 for full-size sedans in the USA, it’s no surprise when you consider that it has filled the gap between the luxury and the premium automobiles on the market. Leather, check. Heated seats, check. Cashmere-coloured interior, double-check. It’s hard not to love this car!


As Nissan’s double-duty SUV, the Armada can tow up to 8500 pounds and has space for eight. Sold in Infiniti showrooms as the QX80, the Armada inherits its luxury-branded counterpart’s plush interior and comes standard with navigation, Bose audio, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Adaptive cruise control and automated emergency braking are standard on the Platinum model. A 390-hp 5.6-liter V-8 drives all four wheels through a seven-speed automatic.

On the inside, there are three rows of seats and room for six or seven; on the outside is handsome styling that stands out from the SUV herd. With a 290-hp 3.3-liter V-6 and a six-speed automatic, acceleration is adequate and shifts are smooth and unobtrusive. Front-wheel drive is standard. The trunk boasts an impressive 14 cubic feet of volume behind the third row of seats (80 cubic feet with them folded).


The Sienna appeals to a wide range of families looking for roomy, comfortable, and high-quality transport—and it succeeds. A 296-hp 3.5-liter V-6 paired to an eight-speed automatic drives all four wheels, a bonus when the weather turns nasty. An intercom allows front-seat occupants to address the third row, and a Blu-Ray entertainment display keeps the kids in line. Basic safety aids like stability and traction control, adaptive cruise control, automated emergency braking, automatic headlamp high-beam control, a wide-angle backup camera, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert are included.

The old stone that is the Frontier keeps rolling—its basic design dates to 2005, it’s had few changes since 2009. A diesel engine in a compact pickup, with driver-side sliding doors and express-open windows, absolutely perfect. If you’re hiring one of these, chances are you’re not choosing it for the interior – but you won’t be disappointed either way. Rear-Wheel Drive, impressive suspension, 16″ alloys and chrome grille make the Frontier look and feel the part of an all-American machine.
