Wednesday 19th of August 2015
The ever-popular V Festival will return to Staffordshire on the weekend of the 22nd & 23rd of August 2015, featuring two full days of live music from some of the most popular acts of today. The huge music festival is expected to attract tens of thousands of revellers, and will feature live performances from the likes of Calvin Harris, Sam Smith, Kasabian, and George Ezra. V Festival will take place on two sites – the northern site located at Weston Park in Staffordshire, and the southern site at Hylands Park in Chelmsford. The two-day lineup will alternate between the two sites. The Weston Park site lies west of Leicester, a 50-minute drive from Easirent site at East Midlands Airport.
V Festival held its inaugural festival in 1996, when it was headlined by Pulp, with support from Paul Weller, Supergrass, The Charlatans, and Cast, amongst others. It has since hosted a slew of prestigious headline acts, including Blur, The Verve, and Manic Street Preachers.
The festival sites open at 10 AM on Friday 21st August, with a huge party being at the site on Friday before the main event begins with the live acts on Saturday. Tickets start at £89 for a day ticket to £288 for a VIP weekend camping ticket.
