Fuel: Easirent operate a level to level policy, however, if you require your hire van to be pre fuelled please let us know in advance.
Mileage allowance
Easirent have mileage allowances in place for van hire reservations, Easirent’s generous allowance is almost double the average van miles driven per annum* (*source: Motorcheck.ie March 2023). Please contact us for more information.
Ireland van bookings Free Mileage Allowance
1-2 days 240 KM per day
3-6 days 160 KM per day
7 days or more 840 weekly (charged @ EUR 0.20 per km)
If you exceed these allowances you will be charged at EUR 0.20 per km
Example, 50 extra km driven = €10.00
I am arriving at an Airport how do I collect my vehicle?
Pick up procedure will be contained on your rental confirmation, if you have any queries whatsoever please contact us on (+353) 01 695 0324.
What if I’m going to be late?
If you know you may miss the start of your hire, please contact the branch as soon as possible to let them know. We can only hold a Van for you for a limited amount of time, especially during busy periods. If you are due to collect before 10 PM but arrive after, then an out of hours fee will be added to your hire.
Where do I drop off my vehicle at the end of the hire?
Our drop-off location is the same as the pick-up, unless you have selected a different branch for your drop off. We have branches at the following Airport locations Dublin, Cork and Shannon.
How do I receive my booking confirmation?
You will be sent an email shortly after making your reservation to the email address supplied when your booking was made. If you do not receive your confirmation within 48 hours of making your reservation please contact ie.reservations@easirent.com
What is the maximum number of points I can have on my driver’s licence to hire from you?
Minor offences such as speeding and traffic signals are acceptable up to a maximum of 6 points. Please call us if you have any bans or convictions in the last 5 years.
Can I pay for my rental in cash?
No, Easirent DO NOT accept cash at any branch. All payments must be made by card.
Do you accept both Credit and Debit Cards at your Branches?
We accept all major Credit Cards at our Branches. If you have a Debit Card please call (+353) 01 695 0324.
What documents will I need to bring?
– Your driver’s license *
– A credit/ debit card in the driver’s name
– Your passport (for non-Ireland resident) or utility bill and bank statement (for Iocal residents)
* Hirer’s with a GB Driver’s License must also provide a “DVLA License Check Code”. Click here for more information.
Is there a deposit payable?
A zero deposit option is available if the partial excess protection is taken out for hire on vans, these limit your liability in the event of any damage that may occur.
Easirent vans insurance does not cover contents and multi-drop uses.
Excess reduction on vans starts from just €16 per day online, additional excess packages are available at the point of hire which the staff will be happy to discuss. Deposits can only be made with the hirer’s credit card for 2900 EUR pre-authorization.

Can I take the vehicle out of the UK?
ONLY EASIRENT SMALLER VANS ARE ALLOWED TO BE TAKEN TO THE UK – Citroen Berlingo sized vans and Ford Transit Custom.
Easirent Van’s are not allowed to be taken to Europe or any other country outside of Ireland and the UK.
You need to provide your own breakdown cover (THIS MUST BE PRODUCED AT POINT OF HIRE). Additional charges do apply for international usage/insurance and excess mileage outside of Ireland. It will be the responsibility of the hirer to get the vehicle repatriated back to Ireland. Please call for further information – (+353) 01 695 0324.
I cannot find my driving licence, can I still hire?
Yes, we will need government-issued ID (such as a passport, along with the ID stated above) and will need to contact the NDLS to check your license details (there is a charge for this service) UK license holders must have a DVLA check code.
Can I add additional drivers?
Yes, more than one person can drive the rental vehicle; the additional driver needs to be present when collecting the vehicle and produce a valid driver’s license in accordance to the Easirent Terms and conditions. All subsequent extra drivers must also adhere to the terms of the rental contract.
